you've never met them before and all you got was their license plate...finally
there is a way to contact them. You can enter their license plate number and
send them an email, or enter your license plate and see if someone is trying to
contact you.

How do I search for someone? |
|
Click on the search button on top of the page. You will then be able to enter
in the license plate and state. You will then be able to view their profile and
send them a message.

What if the license plate of the person I want to contact is not a member? |
|
If the license plate you entered is not a member yet, we have a system that
will monitor that license plate and alert you when they do become a member! You
can even set it so they receive an email from you as soon as they signup.

I don’t remember their entire license plate number, what should I do? |
|
We have an advanced search system that will match up all the potential license
plates that you are searching for. So if you were only able to remember the
first few digits of the license plate we will show you potential matches.

What do all those links on the menu do? |

Brings you to the main page that list announcements.

| Search: |
Allows you to search for license plates.
|
| Profile: |
You can edit or add cars, pictures, and information about
yourself.
|
| Watched List: |
When you find someone on SearchPlates you can add them to your
watched list so you can easily see all your friends from one page.
|
| Pending Signup: |
When you enter a license plate that is not in the system yet
you can add them to this list so when they do become a member you will be
notified.
|
| Logout: |
Logs you out of the system. It’s important to always log out
when you are finished using SearchPlates.
|

| Inbox: |
Shows messages that are waiting for you to read.
|
| Outbox: |
Shows the emails you have sent in the past.
|
| Pending: |
Emails you create to license plates that are not member yet
will be waiting in the pending box. Once the license plate signs up the message
will be sent immediately.

| Compose: |
You can use this to write a message to send to someone.
|

Some is using my license plate what should I do? |
|
We have a built in dispute system which allows you to dispute only fast and
easily. We will work with you to get their account shut down immediately and
yours up and running.
We have zero tolerance for fraud. If you get caught using someone else’s
license plate or information we will ban you IP address and your email address
for life.
